APPLESAUCE

6 apples
1/4 c water
cinnamon (optional)
 
I prepare this in my crockpot. 
Simply peel, core, and dice the apples. 
Place in crockpot (I sometimes use the 'mini' crockpot) and add water. 
Add cinnamon (optional) to taste. 
Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 2-3 hours. 
Use hand mixer or place in blender when finished if smoother consistency 
is desired.  
(You can always add sugar substitute if you need more sweetness.)
 
Remember - this makes 6 fruit servings.

BAKED APPLE PIE
Core and slice one apple.
Peel the apple if you desire.
Place apple slices in an oven proof bowl.
Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon
You may need to add one tablespoon of water.
Bake at 350 until apple is tender when pierced with fork.
If you prefer more sweetness, add Stevia or sweetener of your 
choice to the baked apple.

Enjoy your apple pie!

Sprinkle liberally with a good quality cinnamon.
Sweetener of your choice may also be added.
